Members' 25-Year Reminiscences

As Chapter President of the Philadelphia Regional Chapter of the American Institute of Planners, I remember going to Washington, D.C., to the AIP office at 1776 Massachusetts Avenue, to await the results of the AIP/ASPO merger vote.

When the results were tallied in favor, some of us "AIP types" had mixed feelings about the result. However, after 25 years of APA and AICP expansion and success, I truly believe it was the right thing to do and it has turned out exceedingly well.
