How Does an Audio/Web Conference Work?During the conference, you will listen to a discussion via the telephone and view the PowerPoint online. Alternately, you may also download the PowerPoint to your computer prior to the conference. Your registration covers one point of phone and Internet access — you can invite as many people as your facilities can accommodate. Some sites host only a few people; some have 10 to 40 attendees. Small groups may listen and watch in an office. Larger groups may use a digital projector and participate in the program in a large conference room. Registration includes access to a special conference website with supplemental reading materials. All attendees will have access to the website for three months after the program. Many programs provide an opportunity for Q&A with the panel experts. Attendees fax or e-mail questions to the panel. To train staff members or commissioners who cannot attend the live program, order Option B and receive a CD-ROM or a streaming recording of the conference. The recording/CD-ROM contains:
Approximately eight weeks after the program the CD-ROM will be mailed to you or you will be notified of how to access the streaming recording. The CD-ROM is Mac and PC compatible. What Technology Is Required?The audio/web conference is delivered to you live. Depending on how you choose to present the program, you will need:
