The morning program from ULI includes a keynote presentation from Dan Quiggle, a Florida entrepreneurial leader who is a sought-after speaker nationally, as well as a stellar panel of South Florida practitioners with the latest on our market trends and financing. They will discuss the role leadership plays in rebuilding the 21st Century business model. And participants will learn how to evaluate their current business challenges to overcome obstacles.
More Instructors: Dan Quiggle Dan Quiggle has been speaking to audiences throughout North America for over 20 years. As a graduate of UCLA, Dan currently serves as President and CEO of America’s Choice Title Company. America’s Choice was recognized by Inc. Magazine as the 2nd fastest growing title agency in America. He is one of the company’s founders and serves on the Board of Directors.
In 1989, Dan was granted the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of working in President Ronald Reagan’s post-presidential office. In a staff of just a dozen, he was able to gain the unique experience of working closely with one of the greatest men of the 20th century.
Prior to moving to Florida, Dan was founder and president of Red, White and Blue Vending Company. Starting with only two machines, the business grew to sales valued in the millions. Within a few years they were acquired by one of the largest private vending companies on the East Coast.
Dan has shared his messages of business success and motivation with America’s top corporations and associations, including Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo, and Coldwell Banker. He has spoken for U.S. Congressional candidates, been featured on the Fox News Channel and has been covered by The Wall Street Journal.
Dan also serves as Dean of Faculty at the Leadership Institute, based out of Washington, DC. In this capacity he speaks on public policy and leadership in cities throughout the country. The position also allows him the opportunity to meet with many of the Institute’s top donors, including some of the most successful and influential people in the county.
Dan also served as the Florida State Chairman of American’s for Prosperity. AFP is committed to educating citizens about economic policy and mobilizing those citizens as advocates in the public policy process. AFP is an organization of grassroots leaders who engage citizens in the name of limited government and free markets on the local, state and federal levels. The grassroots members of AFP advocate for public policies that champion the principles of entrepreneurship and fiscal and regulatory restraint.
At the age of 43, Dan has started three successful businesses, worked for Ronald Reagan, worked on Capitol Hill, is a national speaker on leadership, ran for Congress, served as State Chairman of American’s for Prosperity and still finds time for his top priority -- his family.
