Applications must be completed online. The exam fees are $450 for new applicants and $390 for returning applicants. 

If you are a previously approved applicant and your current application was first approved in either the May 2007, November 2007, or May 2008 exam window, you must register your intent to participate in the November 2008 exam by using the online exam application link above.

Education and employment verifications for November 2008 exam takers must have been received in APA's Washington, D.C., office no later than July 31, 2008.

Notification of application status is sent out by e-mail, all applicants will be notified of their status by September 15, 2008. Please ensure your APA profile contains a good e-mail address.

Notification of authorization to test for November exam takers will begin in July and will continue on a weekly basis as candidates are approved.
