

Welcome to the Alaska Chapter of the American Planning Association.
The Alaska Chapter is a chapter of the American Planning Association, a non-profit public interest and research organization dedicated to urban, suburban, regional and rural planning.
The Alaska Chapter was established as a non-profit educational organization in 1980. The Chapter brings planning news and training to planners and Planning Commissions in Alaska and promotes intercommunication among planners in Alaska.
The Chapter is open to all professional planners, Planning Commissioners and other professionals with an interest in planning.
APA Alaska currently has almost 200 members including practicing planners, elected and appointed officials, academicians, citizens who care about planning and students.
