Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a Conference Scholarship, applicants must meet both eligibility criteria:

• Be a current member of the Kansas Chapter of APA.
• Be employed or seeking employment as a professional planner.  (Students and Planning Commissioners are not eligible.)  Preference is given to unemployed members.
• Not have received a conference scholarship in a previous year.

Scholarship Awards

Scholarships provide a full registration to the Kansas Planning Conference at no charge. Scholarships do not include mobile workshops offered for an additional fee, travel, or accommodations. Any costs to attend the conference beyond the basic registration fee are the member's responsibility.

Statement of Need

Please attach to this form a statement of no more than one page describing why you are seeking a scholarship to attend the conference and what benefit you hope to gain from your conference attendance.
