Welcome to the Nevada Chapter of the American Planning Association

The Chapter's Mission is...

To promote public involvement and excellence in planning and to improve the quality of life in the State of Nevada through professional development and education.

The Nevada Chapter of the American Planning Association, like the state of Nevada, is strong, diverse, and adapting to new challenges. True to a refrain from our state song, "Right in the heart of the golden west", the Nevada chapter is a sustaining member of Western Planning Resources, Inc. publisher of the Western Planner magazine. Chapter members receive a Western Planner subscription as a benefit of their membership.

Members are served by two sections, Northern and Southern. The Northern Section serves 13 of Nevada's 17 counties. The Southern Section serves the remaining area of the state including Las Vegas and Clark County.
