Lost in Translation to the Public

IPMP: Institute for Participatory Management and PlanningAt your office, Central Time, IL

“How can we communicate the THREAT posted by a problem when that problem involves a long timeline, complexity, and a lot of uncertainty?”

You aren’t doing the public or yourself any favor if you exaggerate the threat posed by a problem (or the benefits of an opportunity), yet you do need to INFORM the public of what the real issues are, and why you’re proposing what you’re proposing.
