Tuesdays at APA–DC: Sustainable DC Plan

American Planning AssociationWashington, DC

Free event

The strategic sustainability planning studio of Ayers Saint Gross is collaborating with the Office of Mayor Vincent Gray, the DC Office of Planning (OP), the District Department of the Environment (DDOE), a team of leading consultants, and numerous interested citizens and resident experts, to make Washington, D.C., the healthiest, greenest, and most livable city in the U.S.

In April 2012, this team released "A Vision for a Sustainable DC," the initial public draft of the District's coordinated environmental, social, and economic goals for 2032. Since then, it has been working to develop the specifics of this Vision, and to craft a deeper and more specific plan.
