More Instructors: Henry Amsden is sole proprietor of the land surveying and boundary consulting firm of
H.H. Amsden & Sons in Concord. He is a member of the New Hampshire Land Surveyors
Association (former member, Ethics and Standards Committee and elected fellow by the
association). Mr. Amsden has been a mathematics instructor at Franklin Pierce College and
Wilton High School, a mathematics and history instructor at Canaan College and Nathaniel
Hawthorne College, and a mathematics and economics instructor at New Hampshire College. He
has served as an expert witness on several litigated boundary disputes. Mr. Amsden has
published and lectured professionally on many boundary related topics and practice areas. He
earned his B.A. degree from Barrington College. Edmund Boutin is principal of the law office of Boutin & Altieri, P.L.L.C., where he
practices in the areas of environmental law, public utilities litigation, insurance defense,
professional liability and lawyer discipline defense, municipal law, zoning and land use
litigation. He has spoken frequently on ethics to various New Hampshire Bar Association
meetings. Mr. Boutin is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar
Foundation, the New Hampshire Institute for Justice and The Defense Research Institute. He
earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from St. Michael's College; and his J.D. degree from
Georgetown University. Maria Dolder is a partner with Hebert & Dolder, P.L.L.C., where her areas of practice
include real estate law, contract law, municipal planning and zoning, land use, business
transactions, landlord and tenant issues, civil litigation and administrative law. She is admitted to
the New Hampshire Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court in
both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Ms. Dolder is admitted to practice law in Maine,
Massachusetts and Missouri. She is a member of the New Hampshire Women's Bar Association
and serves on the Board of Directors for Woodside School, Inc. Ms. Dolder is a graduate of the
University of New Hampshire School of Law. Derek Lick is a member of the law firm of Sulloway & Hollis, P.L.L.C., where his areas
of practice are litigation, construction law and land use and planning matters. He has represented
clients in all of the New Hampshire superior court, as well as before the New Hampshire
Supreme Court. Additionally, Mr. Lick has represented clients in numerous zoning board of
adjustment and planning board matter - in some cases seeking approvals and in other objecting to
development proposals. On multiple occasions he has defended or brought appeals of planning
and zoning board decisions before the Superior Courts. Mr. Lick currently represents one of the
largest retail property developers in the North Country. He serves on the Zoning Board of
Adjustment for the Town of Sutton. Gregory Michael is of counsel to the Manchester law firm of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer
& Nelson, P.A., where his areas of practice are real estate, municipal law and land use. He has
spoken previously on topics related to his areas of practice including presentations for the New
Hampshire Municipal Law Lecture Series and the New Hampshire Bar Association. Mr. Michael
is a member of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts bar associations, and the New Hampshire
District and Municipal Court Judge's Association. He earned his B.S. degree from the University
