Erosion & Sediment Control (RV-1840)

RedVector.com, Inc.online, FL

The erosion of soil during construction activities arguably presents the most significant source of water pollution in the U.S. There should be little argument that it is certainly the most preventable. Over the past two decades, significant progress has been made in the development of best management practices designed to both prevent erosion by diverting stormwater and to treat sediment-laden runoff prior to its discharge from the construction site. Fortunately for designers many states have developed very similar standards for these practices. This 8-hour online course will present an erosion and sediment control design manual and require the student to employ design standards that are applicable to construction projects anywhere. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end.
