SEPA & NEPALaw Seminars InternationalSeattle, WA This workshop will feature presentations and discussions of the most important SEPA/NEPA compliance and policy issues confronting land use and environmental professionals today. The program will include recent legislative and judicial developments in both SEPA and NEPA law and focus special attention on how extensive 2012 SEPA amendments and ongoing rule-making, in combination with existing planned action, infill development exemptions, and other regulatory reform provisions, can be utilized to expedite and facilitate SEPA compliance and fulfill the mission of local comprehensive plans. The 2012 Legislature's mandate to update the environmental checklist, coordinate SEPA and GMA compliance, and more efficiently review non-project actions, also will be addressed. Panels of experts will discuss the timely topics of cumulative impact analysis in NEPA and SEPA review of proposed coal export terminals and provide tips for faster multi-jurisdictional permitting.
