Jessica brings over 8 years of bicycle planning and education experience to the Wisconsin Bike Fed. Her work includes Safe Routes To School programs and planning, grant writing and administration, legislation and policy research, public training and curriculum development, large scale event management and public process facilitation. Jessica has worked with dozens of communities throughout Wisconsin, training over 30 educators and teaching more than 10,000 school children how to walk and ride to school safely. She has created the Bike Fed’s two most sucessful education programs: SRTS and Share & Be Aware. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Macalester College with a double major in Geography and Urban Studies. She is a Chicago native who now prefers Milwaukee. She and her husband live in Riverwest in a house that they renovated based on her design.
