GIS Symposium 2013 Exploring and Exchanging Spatial Knowledge
This is the 3rd annual Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve GIS Symposium. The event is open and geared to professionals, students and vendors. This event has grown to become the premier GIS event in SW Florida. Learn new and innovative techniques, tools and GIS applications. It’s a full day organized and sponsored by Rookery Bay, SW Florida GIS User Group, APA Florida Promised Lands Section
This event is non-promotional. Participants will gain valuable technical knowledge shared by GIS experts, land use planners, and other interested professionals.
There will be formal presentations, public discussion, and opportunities for questions, answers, and dialogue. The educational objective will be appropriate for AICP members as they learn new developments in GIS technology and land use applications. The speakers will draw on professional experience in GIS, land use planning and other fields. The content will not be basic in nature, but will be an in depth discussion about critical matters to planners and other professionals.
