The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Department of Urban planning offers a two-year, 48-credit professional degree that focuses on areas such as urban revitalization, urban geographic systems, transportation, physical planning and urban design, and environmental resources. Coordinated degree programs with architecture, public administration and transportation engineering are availalbe. The UWM Department of Urban Planning is accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board (PAB) of the American Planning Association and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning.
