To meet the growing need in America's cities and towns for effective solutions to turn vacant, abandoned, and problem properties into vibrant places, the Center for Community Progress helps local leaders advocate for and implement the policy changes to prevent abandonment and to reuse vacant and underutilized properties. The core activities of Community Progress will be: Policy development, technical assistance and capacity building, research, coalition building, and communications.
