APA Illinois Chapter Pro Bono Planning Service Program

The mission of the Pro-Bono Planning Service Program is to provide planning services on a pro-bono basis by the Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA-IL) membership, to assist eligible nonprofit organizations, community groups, service agencies and governmental units in the initiation, organizing and fine tuning of early stage planning projects.

APA Washington Chapter Community Planning Assistance Teams

The Washington Chapter of the American Planning Association partners with the State Department of Commerce to provide communities (cities, towns or neighborhoods) the assistance of professional planners and other specialists in articulating visions, solving problems or resolving issues. The objectives of APA-WA's CPAT are to connect plans and actions, identify local and regional resources for sustainable planning, and advance the principles of APA for a Livable Washington.

APA New Jersey Chapter Community Planning Assistance Program

The goal of APA-NJ's Community Planning Assistance Program is to provide volunteer planning support to municipalities and community-based organizations in New Jersey through workshops that would last from a half-week to a full week. The workshop, which would result in recommendations and a final report, would include officials and stakeholders from the selected community.
