2010 National Planning ConferenceMobile Workshop ProposalsSaturday, April 10 – Tuesday, April 13, 2010 • New Orleans Members of the New Orleans Local Host Mobile Workshop Committee have asked specific individuals to propose a mobile workshop for the National Planning Conference. This form is intended for those people only. Proposals must be completed online. Deadline: July 28, 2009 Mobile Workshops give conference attendees an opportunity to see planning projects, both complete and in-progress, by making site visits to locations throughout the region. Multiple modes of transportation are encouraged, including public transportation, bicycle, walking, jogging, boat, and motorcoach. By submitting a proposal, you are committing to organize this mobile workshop, or delegate another individual to complete all preparations for this workshop. This may include, securing speakers, ordering alternative transportation (bike, canoe, trolley), purchasing snacks or lunch, and coordinating with off-site locations. Please take time to read the Mobile Workshop Organizer and Speaker Registration Policy. Be sure to read all of the instructions below before entering your proposal. There are instructions for APA members and non-members. APA MembersYou will be required to login with your APA ID number and password. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be taken to the proposal form. After you begin working on your proposal you may complete the form now, or at a later date. If you plan to continue working on it later, hit the "Save" button. You can return to your proposal by visiting www.planning.org/conference, clicking "View My Proposals," and logging in when you are ready to continue working. If you are finished with your proposal and are ready submit it, hit the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page. You cannot make changes to your proposal after you hit submit. It is necessary to create a login because we use your ID# to track your proposal. Once you create a Non-Member record you must return to this page to complete your proposal. Click here to create a Non-Member login ID and password. After you complete the profile please return to this page to log in with your new Non-Member ID number and password.
