AICP Community Planning Workshop
This day-long, collaborative planning workshop helped residents address growing development pressures in the Sharswood community, one mile from the Center City area of Philadelphia. Although largely blighted and economically depressed, Sharswood possesses hundreds of vacant properties that when combined with its locational advantages and community activism present favorable redevelopment opportunities.

New Directors Institute

The New Directors Institute (NDI) provided new planning directors with intensive training developed by APA in collaboration with a professional leadership trainer and eight seasoned and successful directors from around the country.
