The City of Indianapolis is requesting responses from qualified consulting firms (Consultants) with senior level geologists and/or engineers who can act as the City’s Technically Qualified Person (TQP) as defined in the Wellfield Protection Zoning Ordinance of Marion County, Indiana, Revised Code of the Consolidated City and County Sec. 735-800 et seq. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to select an environmental Consultant that has both the experience and ability to perform the responsibilities outlined in the Consultant Responsibilities listed below. In addition, the Consultant shall submit a transmittal letter, a cost or rate sheet, and responses to all general requirements provided.

The primary duties of the selected CONSULTANT will be to provide the services required of a Technically Qualified Person under the Department of Metropolitan Development’s (DMD) Wellfield Protection Zoning Ordinance by reviewing site and development plans for proposed new construction within one of the designated wellfields within the County’s boundaries.
