A number of issues have arisen at the intersection of Beverly and 2nd Streets. Vehicular traffic has increased. The safety of the MPO area’s pedestrians must be addressed and this intersection has come to light as a prime candidate for study and improvement. Conflicts between vehicles and pedestrians rose dramatically in the first half of 2012.
