Housing and Community Development Division Student Conference ScholarshipDeadline: March 1, 2013 PurposeThe purpose of the Housing and Community Development Division Student Conference Scholarship is to financially assist students studying urban, rural, or regional planning or a related field to attend the 2013 APA National Planning Conference. (April 13-17, 2013, in Chicago). Conference registration is required. Two scholarships of up to $500 will be awarded based on applicant responses to the essay questions in the entry form. EligibilityEligible applicants are members of the Housing and Community Development Division who are also enrolled in a graduate planning-related course of study. Join the Housing and Community Development Division Related FieldsFields related to urban planning including geography, public administration, urban policy or urban studies, environmental science or environmental planning, architecture, community planning or community development, sustainability, etc. AmountUp to $500.00 per applicant to offset the cost of attending the conference, excluding registration. Application/SubmissionTo apply, the student must complete and submit the attached application and attachments and return it to Erica Hall at ehall@nw.org by 5:00 p.m. on March 1. Scholarship recipients will be notified by March 15.
