Gays and Lesbians in Planning Division

The Gays and Lesbians in Planning (GALIP) Division addresses planning topics and issues that relate to the gay and lesbian community by providing a forum for exchanging ideas and information. Members receive a quarterly newsletter, The Gayzette, which features relevant news stories and division information.

The division hosts networking sessions at each annual APA National Planning Conference, sponsors an opening reception, a conference session, and more. GALIP provides a professional support mechanism for planners who are members and friends of the gay and lesbian community while respecting the privacy needs of each member.
