Jose Vela, Lisandra Nunez, Ernesto Morales, and Luzyanis Fraga, students at the University of Miami in Florida, have been named recipients of the 2012 Gina Tirinnanzi Memorial Scholarship for their group project.

The winners will receive their scholarship awards at the 2012 APA National Planning Conference in Los Angeles.
In 2010, the New Urbanism Division lost one of its founding members, Gina Tirinnanzi. To commemorate Gina's contributions, the Division established this one-time scholarship.
