
"Day to Day" Last November, Oregon voters approved a ballot initiative that may undercut the state's long-standing planning tradition. The measure gives Oregon governments two choices. They can now either provide compensation to property owners who succeed in proving land-use regulations have reduced property value, or the governments can waive the regulations in question.
