APA's Urban and Community Forestry project team has posted on this site a completed bibliography developed for the project. The end product will be a best practices manual on integrating urban and community forestry into comprehensive and current municipal planning activities. This manual will take the form of a Planning Advisory Service Report, scheduled for publication by late 2008.

A key element of the research endeavor was the development of a bibliography detailing the existing literature on topics pertinent to the goals of the project, described on the Overview page. We asked our project partners to contribute to this literature search, as well as other members of the Sustainable Urban Forests Coalition, of which APA is a member, and, finally, invited participants in a special symposium hosted by APA March 22-23, 2006, at APA's Daniel Burnham Conference Center in Chicago.
