Advertise your immediate job openings on Jobs Online. It's ideal for employers who need to find applicants quickly.

Rates

All Jobs Online ads must be prepaid by MasterCard, Visa, or American Express. We do not offer an alternative payment method.

* Entry-level positions should require no more than 1 year of experience.

** Internship positions refer to 3-6 month temporary positions suitable for students, and should not require job experience.

Keep it short — to make it easily readable on a computer screen. Include the position title, salary (if appropriate for you), position description, education and experience requirements. Also: a contact name, address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address (if available), and a deadline for applications, if you have one.

Limit your use of abbreviations to commonly understood professional terms. Enter complete information in the job description field.

Jobs Online is updated continuously during the day, Monday through Friday. Ads are posted within 24 hours of receipt, once payment is approved and ads are checked for typos and minor editorial changes.

Jobs Online serves ANY POSITION RELATED TO PLANNING AND a variety of planning SPECIALTIES, including zoning, economic development, housing, transportation, GIS, environmental management and urban design.

Creating a Jobs Online Account

You need not be a member of APA in order to post an ad.

You should create your own account, as we communicate your ad confirmation and link for printing out a payment receipt to the e-mail address used in the log-in process.

Your Online Submission

Enter your ad directly into the online Insertion Form.

Please be sure that it is completely correct before hitting the "submit" button.

Communicate any requests for changes detected afterwards, in writing, to JobsOnline@planning.org.

Please contact JobsOnline@planning.org if your ad needs to be pulled before the end of the listing period that you requested. Please note that you WILL NOT receive a rebate as a result of this request.

Confirmations

An automatic e-mail notification will be sent to the email address used in the log-in to place the ad. This will inform you that your ad is submitted successfully, and will include a link to a receipt for your credit card payment. You should print out a copy of this receipt for your records.

Tear sheets (or copies) of ads placed online are available only for the length of time an ad is online — 2, 3, or 4 weeks. We encourage all employers to print out a copy of each ad for their records, while the ad is online.

Resume Database

You will be able to search our APA Member Resume Database for 3 months after posting your ad.

You should use the same log-in information used to place your ad, in order to access the database.
