APA can help you afford the cost of membership.
Are you retired?
Retired members are eligible to pay reduced APA, AICP, and
chapter dues. To qualify, you must have been an APA or AICP member continuously
for 10 or more years, be 65 or older, and completely retired (not employed). APA dues for
retired members are $75. AICP dues are $25. Chapter dues are $10.
Are you unemployed?
Unemployed members may request one year of reduced
APA, AICP, and chapter dues for every three years of APA membership (maximum
five years at unemployed rate).
Are you a lifer?
Longtime members of APA may be eligible
to become life members and pay reduced APA, AICP, and chapter dues. To qualify,
you must have been an APA or AICP member continuously for 25 or more years
and be 65 or older.
Are you a returning student?
Members who have returned to school full time may pay APA student
dues of $40 a year and $25 AICP dues. Chapter dues vary by state; click
here to see a full list of chapter dues. To receive these rates, you must
verify that you are a full-time student and provide the name of the university
or college you attend, your student ID, and the phone number of your school's
registrar.
