Aja My favorite place is the Crown Fountain in Millennium Park. It is located in downtown Chicago. This is where I go on hot summer days to keep cool. I love to play in the water and meet other kids. |

Casimere Navy Pier is in Chicago, Illinois. It is a place to have fun. I love the ferris wheel and the I-max theatre. I saw The Polar Express. There is also a Build-a Bear Workshop. It is my favorite store. |

Crystal The best place in my community is my house. My house is a fun place to live. I have a big backyard where I roller skate, jump rope, and play basketball. |

Journey One of my favorite places in Chicago, Illinois, is Buckingham Fountain. The fountain is one of the largest in the world. What I like most about this fountain is that good friend of my family was married here and I took part as the flower girl. I also enjoyed when the wind would blow and you feel a sprinkle of water on your face. |

Rhay US Cellular Field is near downtown Chicago, Illinois. The White Sox play baseball there. I go there with my dad. I have fun and eat nachos at the baseball game. |

Tremont My favorite place is the pool at the Park District. The water is always warm and there is a big playground outside. I can bring my bike and ride it while my mom runs and does exercises. |

Benjamin This is White Oak Park. I like this park because I can roller blade and play soccer and basketball. I also like the trucks and the big play structure. I can also swing on the swing set and eat lunch under the shelter and ride my bike there. |

Aaron My favorite place in Coldwater, Michigan, is Max Larsen Elementary School. The bricks are cherry red. This school was made in 2003! My school is outstanding. |

I like to look out library windows and see all the cars and people pass by. The library looks like a princess’s castle. It is a peaceful and quiet place to read. I’m glad our community has a library. |

My favorite place is Allen’s Root Beer Stand. The building is as orange as a pumpkin. What I like most is that the waitresses come to your car. They have the best root beer in the world. |

It’s show time at Tibbit’s Opera House! It’s been around since 1882 and was started by Barton S. Tibbits. My favorite show is “Rapunzel.” I performed there four times for dance recitals. Tibbit’s is the best place in Coldwater, Michigan. |

I love the beach because I can play in the sand with my sister. We make castles and swim in the water. My sister is too scared to jump so she just walks in the water. Afterwards we have dinner. |

I go to Coldwater’s Capri Drive-in with my family. You can watch a movie in your van, truck or car. I like to bring buttered popcorn and Capri Suns to drink. It’s the world’s best movie theater. |
