- Apply only for positions for which you qualify.
- Follow carefully the instructions for applying.
- Consult the Job Connection listing frequently, and apply for positions before the conference, when available.
- Provide reliable contact information for employers; i.e. the email address and land line/cell phone numbers that you check regularly.
- If invited for interview at the conference, ensure that you will be present in the Job Connection area or other location selected by the employer 10 minutes before the appointed time.
- Confirm your interview time and other arrangements, such as providing additional information, with the employer ahead of the conference, or on-site ahead of the appointed time.
- Always leave a message, if requested to make telephone contact and you do not make a voice-to-voice connection with the employer representative.
