Damage to Sevier roads starts Monday [News Sentinel]

n Beginning Monday, State Route 71 (U.S. 441) near Dudley Creek Road in Gatlinburg will have one lane closed in each direction for slide repair and slope stabilization work. Crews will be working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The project is slated for completion by April 12.

n Emergency repairs to several sections of Snapp Road in Sevierville are scheduled to begin Monday. One lane of traffic will be maintained with a temporary traffic signal; motorists should expect delays.
