APA co-hosts Summit on National Infrastructure Investment

April 28 – 29, 2011
National Harbor, Maryland

WASHINGTON, DC  — APA is co-hosting the Changing the Conversation: Advancing a National Infrastructure Improvement Agenda on April 28 and April 29, 2011, in National Harbor, Maryland. Keynotes at the event will be presented by former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell and former Sen. Slade Gorton of Washington. Rendell and Gorton will call for a broader and more forthright discussion about the actions needed to improve our nation’s failing public infrastructure. Given the current fiscal state of the nation, any future investments for infrastructure must contribute to the nation’s economic growth and quality of life.

The event is co-hosted by APA, American Society of Civil Engineers, Bipartisan Policy Center, Building America’s Future Educational Fund, Natural Resources Defense Council, Laborers International Union of North America, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
