U.S. Forest Service Conservation Planning Tools Assessment

In support of the U.S. Forest Service's Open Space Conservation Strategy, APA has partnered with Clemson University to assess the state of conservation planning tools in use by planners around the country. From the findings, APA and the Forest Service seek to identify both communities in need of conservation tools and those which have demonstrated successful strategies and tools for conservation planning. Through this effort, APA and the U.S. Forest Service will help determine the form and content of future research and outreach initiatives that best meet conservation planning needs.
