Table 2m shows how 110 respondents who have worked, or currently work, in the Great Lakes coastal region rated their personal proficiency in the use of geospatial technology. More than 97% of respondents have at least an introductory level of proficiency; nearly 74% have at least an intermediate level of proficiency. However, less than 4% of respondents consider themselves to be geospatial technology experts.

More than 87% responded that their organizations use geospatial technology at least occasionally; nearly 75% responded at least frequent use by their organizations. Less than 4% of respondents report their organizations never use geospatial technology.
