Table 2o shows how 100 respondents who have worked, or currently work, in the Gulf of Mexico coastal region rated their personal proficiency in the use of geospatial technology. 97% of all respondents have at least an introductory level of proficiency; 67% have at least an intermediate level of proficiency. However, only 5% of respondents consider themselves to be geospatial technology experts.

Table 2p shows how 100 respondents who have worked, or currently work, in the Gulf of Mexico coastal region rated the frequency with which their organization uses geospatial technology. 88% responded that their organizations use geospatial technology at least occasionally; 80% reported at least frequent use by their organizations. 3% of respondents report their organizations never use geospatial technology.
