William D. Wagoner, AICP Consultant Trainer
Midwest/Northeast Exercise William Wagoner is the Planning and Emergency Management Director for Livingston
County, Michigan. In addition, he serves as an adjunct faculty member for the
Division of Emergency Management Training Academy of the Michigan Department
of State Police. He is also on the Michigan Hazard Mitigation Coordinating Council
and is the immediate past chair of the Certified Emergency Manager Commission
of the International Association of Emergency Managers. The midwestern exercise is based on Wagoner's many years of experience conducting
hazard-related training in Michigan. His course work focuses on the mitigation
of flooding, tornadoes, and winter hazards that affect industrial communities.
The scenarios used in this exercise should be useful in most of the northern
states as well as some border states like Kentucky and West Virginia, which
do not face coastal hazards. |
