Associates, Inc. (CSA). While at CSA, Walther helped expand the firm's services
in emergency management and hazard mitigation. Prior to joining CSA, he operated
his own private consulting practice. He served as the Long-Range Planning Director

Department of Community Affairs. The southern exercise scenario is designed to reflect the primary hazards in
the Southeast and Gulf Coast states. This exercise is based on a CD-ROM developed
by the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration for New Hanover
County, North Carolina, which outlines the primarily coastal hazards affecting
the county. It details the county's past history of natural disasters and examines
viable mitigation strategies. This exercise will be most appropriate for eastern
and southern coastal states threatened by hurricanes, coastal storms, flooding,
and tornadoes. |
