Land Use Law Sources
The following references are various books, articles, and treatises
on land-use law that were selected for submission by a variety of persons knowledgeable
in the field including some reporters of APA's Planning & Environmental
Law.
While this list is by no measure exhaustive, the sources are some of the better
ones in the field and offer good starting points on the legal topics.
These persons were asked to submit the best sources on land-use law on approximately
20 topics. Not all topics received suggestions for legal literature to list,
while other topics evolved. These topics are some of the more familiar ones
(like "takings") and some created for convenience (like "General
Land Use Law" and "Treatises").
Publications are listed differently from those in the other sections of the
Essential Planning Library. Article names appear in italics; the names of periodicals
and books appear in Roman type.
