to the extremely popular first volume of Getting to Smart Growth,
provides states and communities with a range of policy options that can be
tailored to fit local circumstances and highlights steps that the private
sector can take to encourage more livable communities. It also includes photographs
illustrating different smart growth principles, a matrix to identify policies
that support multiple principles, case studies and examples in each chapter,
and an appendix listing funding resources for smart growth projects.
