This partnership between MCI WorldCom and six renowned educational organizations has produced discipline-specific educational web sites on economics, geography, humanities, mathematics, science and the arts. The MarcoPolo program provides no-cost, standards-based Internet content for the K-12 teacher and classroom. It contains links to sites that include materials to help with daily classroom planning, brief and extended lesson plans, reviewed and expert-approved links to related high-quality sites, and powerful search engines.

ICOM is devoted to the promotion and development of museums and the museum profession at an international level. They manage the Virtual Library Museum Pages, the most extensive annotated list and links to museum sites around the world. It also has links to library exhibitions and a Web virtual library.
KIDSNET

KIDSNET is the only national non-profit computerized clearinghouse and information center devoted to children's television, radio, audio, video and multimedia. Among other services, it produces downloadable study guides on all subjects to extend the educational value of media programming for children and families, and provides a monthly Media Guide describing programs for children, families and educators referenced by air date, curriculum areas, grade levels, supplemental materials, related multimedia, off-air taping rights, and sources for more information.
