Visual Teaching Alliance
Teacher Training Workshops

The Visual Teaching Alliance gives workshops to primary and secondary educators. Inspired by evidence that the majority of children are visual learners, these workshops provide teaching strategies for visual and hands-on learning, as well as critical thinking.

There are five different training modules:

* Visual Teaching Strategies for the Classroom
* Critical/Creative Thinking Skills and the Six Methods of Visual Learning
* Technology
* Life Skills and Character Education
* Student-Based Portfolios

The workshops' content is a stepping stone for learning about the built environment and visualizing the development of cities. They can supplement youth-related planning education.
