2007 APA National Planning Conference

The 2007 National Planning Conference is coming to Philadelphia, April 14-18. The conference will include over 160 sessions, dozens of workshops, over 90 mobile workshops, and networking events. Mobile Workshop: Safe Routes to School in Urban New Jersey
Safe Routes to School initiatives are gaining momentum due to funding through SAFETEA-LU. Consider issues regarding Safe Routes to School programs in urban and disadvantaged communities. Explore the physical and social issues regarding safety and youth transportation around a school in urban Trenton. Transportation: Motorcoach, walking. Includes lunch. W042
Meet in the Convention Center, at 12th and Arch Street, at least 10 minutes prior to when this workshop (or tour) is scheduled to begin. All workshops depart promptly from 12th street in the tunnel.

Participate in this workshop on the Pennsylvania Land & Community Education program. Review lessons and engage in training activities using planning and community development tools and vocabulary.
