Montclair is home to the first unified transportation and land use plan in the state of New Jersey. While the state only requires that a comprehensive plan include land-use elements, Montclair, with the NJDOT and the College of New Jersey, opted to combine both mobility and land use through a unified planning process. This poster looks at how this process was created from scratch—and what lessons were learned in the process.
