Sidewalk Data in the Age of the App: Tools for Asset Management

Bio: I am a graduate research assistant at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and at the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development at Georgia Tech. At the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development, I have been involved in several projects relating to healthy places and health impact assessment. In Summer 2012, I was the project manager for the development of a Complete Streets design manual as an intern at the City of Atlanta (Department of Planning and Community Development). I am currently working on a project to develop a sidewalk quality assessment system to prioritize pedestrian facilities for repair and maintenance at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (the topic of this session).
