Bio: As a Community Planner with the US Army Corps of Engineers, I have had many opportunities to interact with officials and experts from across the nation regarding my work in water resource management. The skill sets of the engineers, architects, and scientists that surround me at work have the additional benefit of providing me with greater perspective on the broader reach of planning as a field.

Bio: I work as Community Planner with the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC)/ Construction Engineer Research Laboratory (CERL) of the Army Corps of Engineers. Current work includes regional water assessment for Net Zero Water Army installations. Prior to this work experience, I worked as city planner for about ten years. This included working as town planner for the Auckland City Council in New Zealand, as an infill and redevelopment planner for Lexington, KY and a planner for Georgetown, KY.
Education: I’m in my last semester of graduate school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Master of Urban Planning. I graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Western Kentucky University.
