Bio: Brian S. Grossman focuses his practice on zoning, land use, telecommunications, wetlands protection, commercial real estate transactions, and related litigation. For more than 13 years, Brian has represented clients before permit granting authorities in more than 150 municipalities within Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. This experience is why clients rely on Brian to navigate the often complex and evolving local and state permitting processes. Brian has represented various regional and national wireless communications carriers and infrastructure providers and advised them on all aspects of the site and network development process, including acquisition, leasing, permitting, and litigation. He also works as part of the Prince Lobel Renewables team providing advice concerning the permitting and development of wind and solar energy projects. In addition, Brian represents property owners and businesses in connection with commercial real estate transactions, leasing, financing, land use, environmental, and litigation matters. As part of his commercial real estate practice, Brian advises clients in leasing, financing, and permitting matters, guiding them through both zoning and subdivision processes. He provides high-level expertise in transactional matters and commercial land use development, encompassing a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate matters. Brian's litigation practice focuses on land use and other property-related issues. He routinely represents wireless communications carriers and infrastructure providers in appeals involving the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Brian also represents real estate developers in appealing denials by permit granting authorities and defends successfully obtained approvals from appeals by project opponents. As part of his work with Prince Lobel's Consumer Finance Practice Group, Brian represents financial services companies in actions concerning the origination and collection of mortgage loans.
