Room: Columbus Hall K/L
Track: Jobs and Transformation: Planners' Roles in Economic Planning Symposium
“Chicago Sustainable Industries: A Business Plan for Manufacturing,” or “CSI,” is the product of nearly three years of research and coordination between industry leaders and government agencies to grow Chicago’s diverse manufacturing base. This session examines CSI strategies to improve and focus existing local tools; develop additional tools where needed; and ensure the coordination among government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and businesses necessary to compete successfully in a world of knowledge-based goods and services.
