Planning for Sustainable Aggregate Production
Date: Tuesday, April 16
Time: 9:00AM - 10:15AM
How important are local and regional sources of limestone and other construction aggregates? Find out during this session, which comprises three presentations that explain why planning decisions must factor in local and regional geology to ensure long-term aggregate resources are available to build and maintain infrastructure. Learn too how sensible, effective zoning and code enforcement controls can be developed for mining operations.
