AICP Mentoring Program Students and New Professionals: AICP's mentoring online database, part of the AICP Mentoring Program, gives you the opportunity to choose a mentor based on search criteria that you select yourself. You can find an experienced planner mentor based on desired characteristics, including geographic location and area of planning specialty. This new database also gives you the opportunity to manage your mentoring relationship. Together with your mentor, you can make decisions on the mentoring experience, including how often to meet and how to communicate. Click here for all the details.
Urban Design and Preservation Division Mentoring Networking Opportunities for Students and Young Professionals Are you considering a career in urban design and preservation? Perhaps you are looking for more information about the role of urban design and preservation in planning. In any case, the Urban Design and Preservation Division provides a mentoring service for students, young professionals, and others interested in urban design and preservation. The service operates like a matchmaker, linking people with questions with professionals in the Division. Through this service, one can ask questions, obtain career advice, and discuss current issues in urban design and preservation.
