Post-Disaster Recovery Planning

November 15, 2005

Speakers: Richard Roths, AICP, and Jim Schwab, AICP

Planners are increasingly working to restore and rebuild communities after a natural disaster strikes. North America is facing the greatest recovery challenge of this century after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. We're also approaching the one-year mark of the deadly Indian Ocean tsunami that shocked the world. Come hear from Richard Roths, AICP, and Jim Schwab, AICP — professional planners who have on-the-ground experience in post-disaster recovery planning efforts.
